Permitting Procedure Amendment

The Land Administration Team is currently in the process of considering a proposed amendment to the District’s Permitting Procedures related to the allowable length of sides on shore stations. As part of the process the District would greatly appreciate your participation in the survey below in an attempt to solicit feedback from our lake customers.  (A description of the proposed changes is below the survey.)

Existing Permitting Procedure

5.2.2.7.  …  Sides will not be allowed to be installed on Water-Based SWAF, except that boat lift covers may extend three feet (3’) down from the top of the permitted structure.

Proposed Amendment

5.2.2.7.  … Sides will not be allowed to be installed on Water-Based SWAF, except that boat lift covers and sides may extend down from the top of the permitted structure to adequately protect the watercraft.

(The proposed rule change would eliminate the 3’ restriction currently placed on boat lift covers.)
