Nebraska: The Great American Water Machine is scheduled for television broadcast.  It’s broadcast debut is on Thursday, March 11 at 6 p.m., CT on NET World (NET2).

This program explores water’s role as the lifeblood of the state.  The new NET Connects program examines the relationship between groundwater and surface water, how they are connected and consumed, and how we can work together to preserve, protect and manage our water for future generations.

Central Nebraska Public Power & Irrigation District was a primary sponsor and contributor with the NET program that was produced in partnership with the Nebraska State Irrigation Association.  In addition to providing photos, video and facts for the program, Central staff members were also interviewed and appear in the show.
