Central District Water Users Annual Meeting Scheduled for Feb. 15

(HOLDREGE, Neb.) -- The Central District Water Users will hold their annual meeting on Monday, Feb. 15 at the Super 8 Motel in Holdrege.

State Sen. Tom Carlson of Holdrege will be the meeting's keynote speaker with an update on legislative issues. Don Kraus, general manager of The Central Nebraska Public Power and Irrigation District, will have remarks about District activities and civil engineer Cory Steinke will provide a water supply update for the 2010 irrigation season.

The meeting will start with a steak dinner at 12 noon, followed by remarks from the speakers and the CDWU's annual business meeting and election of directors.

The Central District Water Users is an association of irrigation customers served by The Central Nebraska Public Power and Irrigation District. All Central irrigation customers are encouraged to attend.
