Land and Shoreline Management Plan 5-Year Update
The Central Nebraska
Public Power and Irrigation District (Central), owner and operator
of Federal Energy Regulatory Commission Project No. 1417, including
Kingsley Dam, Lake McConaughy, Tri-County Supply Canal and associated
reservoirs, is in the process of reviewing its December 2002
Land and Shoreline Management Plan (LSMP) pursuant to LSMP Section
7.C.1. 5-Year Plan Update Reports (page 97). The public
is invited to attend any of three public meetings where Central
will solicit input on the current LSMP and explain the LSMP review
and update process.
Central will hold these meetings on
March 6 at 7 a.m. MST at the Grey Goose Lodge, 201 Chuckwagon Rd.,
in Ogallala; March 7 at 2 p.m. CST at the Gothenburg Senior Center,
410 20th St., in Gothenburg; and March 7 at 7 p.m. CST at the Holiday
Inn Express, 2601 Plum Creek Pkwy., in Lexington.
The public may
view the document on this site by following the link (Land
and Shoreline Management Plan). A paper desk-copy is available
for viewing at Central's Holdrege and Gothenburg offices and
at the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission's Lake McConaughy Visitor
Center.
