Boat Ramp Elevations at Lake McConaughy

Figures listed below are the elevation at the end of the boat ramp. The ramp is in service when Lake McConaughy's elevation (in feet above mean sea level) exceeds the end-of-ramp elevation sufficiently to allow boaters to launch their boats. In most cases, allow an additional 3 to 4 feet to ensure adequate clearance and safe use of the ramp. See map below for boat ramp locations.

July 16, 2007 Update: The ramp at Divers Bay on the south side of the lake and the low-water ram (Martin Bay lake side) on the north side of the lake are in service.  Concessionaires at Van's Lakeview and North Shore are providing boat-launching services for a fee. Boat launching from these ramps usually requires a tractor, but some boats on trailers attached to personal 4-WD vehicles can be launched at North Shore and Van's. There is a fee if boaters wish to have boats launched with the aid of a tractor provided by North Shore and Van's.
